How do Helly Tech membranes work?
Helly Tech® is the waterproof/ breathable outer layer between you and the elements. Its unique membrane stops water molecules going in, but lets moisture molecules escape. Keeping you dry from the outside and comfortable on the inside.
How Helly Tech® works
- DWR treated water-repellent outer fabric
- Waterproof and breathable membrane or coating
- Highly breathable inner fabric, mesh or lining
There are 3 Performance Levels
-> Helly Tech Professional: Extremely waterproof and breathable designs and constructions tailored to the needs of professionals. For highly aerobic, extremely wet or unusually long-lasting activities in extremely harsh conditions.

Waterproofness and breathability ratings typically above 20.000 mm and 20.000 g/24h/m2 respectively.

For any outdoor activity where performance is key and water contact inevitable, the Helly Tech® Performance layer is your technical barrier against the elements. The waterproof and breathable technology moves water away from the body, keeping you dry and warm, and allowing you to perform your best.
Waterproofness and breathability ratings in the range of 10.000-20.000 and typically around 15.000 mm and 15.000 g/24h/m2 respectively.
-> Helly Tech Protection: Fully waterproof, windproof and breathable fabrics and constructions. For all situations and weather conditions where protection from the elements is needed.
For all activities in wet, cold and windy weather Helly Tech® protection is the ideal protective layer. The guaranteed waterproof and breathable technology stops water going in, but also moves moisture out, meaning you stay dry and warm regardless of the conditions.
Minimum 5.000 mm waterproofness and 5.000 g/24h/m2 breathability and typically in the range of 5.000-15.000 for both respectively.

Le PrimaLoft® c'est quoi?
Quand vous avez besoin d'être tenu bien au chaud en gardant une bonne respirabilité et la legerté d'un duvet en plume, mais qu'en plus vous voulez que ce duvet reste performant en milieu humide, vous avez besoin d'une isoation PrimaLoft®.
D'abord conçue pour l'armée américaine, l'isolation PrimaLoft reste en permanence résistante à l'eau. Même mouillé, ce tissu garde ses propriétés isolantes et son poids plume pour vous garder au chaud et confortable. C'est le meilleur duvet synthétique actuellement disponible sur le marché. Il a une efficacité thermique égale aux duvet d'oie et une respirabilité incomparable pour vous laisser ventilé.
En d'autres thèrmes, le PrimaLoft® est une technologie d'isolation synthétique, offrant des propriétés thermiques supérieures avec une excellente résistance à l'eau. Il est fabriqué de fibres ultra-fins qui forment des poches d'air capturant la chaleur. Ces fibres sont également combinés avec un traitement spécial qui ne permet pas à l'eau de passer à travers, et leurs diamètres fortement réduit rend le PrimaLoft® extrêmement doux.
